"Skaneateles Diamonds"

Hand-painted commercial batiks, machine pieced and free-motion quilted with metallic rayon threads.
The color of the water in Skaneateles Lake never ceases to
amaze me - no matter what kind of weather we're having, the water glows aqua. In this piece, the light reflecting on the
lake reminded me of diamonds. Here's a closeup of the piece.
