After creating "Birch Grove 1" and instantly selling it to another art quilter friend of mine, I wanted to try to recreate the same effect and create a much larger piece for an upcoming gallery show. The tree trunks are entirely hand-painted on white 100% cotton PFD fabric. Here's a closeup of the fabric.
