 "Snow Shadows"
- Juried into The Art and Soul of Quilting exhibit, Kenosha, WI, 2004.
- Exhibited in the Educational Testing Service Second Annual Employee Art Exhibit, May, 2003. Machine appliqued with monofilament and a blind hem, fused applique, free-motion quilting. I'd always wanted to try to duplicate the blue, lavender and gray shadows you find on snow, especially on a sunny wintery day. Some of the commercially available batiks were perfect for this. |
