Based on several photographs that I took in Skaneateles, NY, in the fall of 2005. I woke up early to intense fog, and knew it'd make for some good pictures somewhere... so off I went with my camera. These "brown cows" (don't know their breed) were very curious about me, as cows always are, and I just loved their colors against the foggy backdrop of autumn color. Closeup of detail here. I used lilac tulle to simulate the background fog and their breath.
