"Corn Fields After the Storm"
Hand-painted fabric, commercial batiks, machine pieced and free-motion quilted
with metallic rayon threads.
- Exhibited at the Avenue Art Gallery, Endicott, NY, in Jan/Feb 2005.
Inspired by a photo I took of the glowing cornfields in Central NY in the winter.
When the sun peeks out after a rainstorm, but the clouds are still dark gray and ominous, the beige cornstalks glow in the
bright light.
