Based on the view out our western windows of the old maple trees that line our driveway. On some winter days, there's color in the snow - lovely shades of blues, lavenders, even peach. But on other days when it's overcast, the entire landscape seems devoid of any color except white, black and a few hints of greenish-purple on the tree trunks.
